Privacy policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
ViziVal ("ViziVal," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through vizival.com and our related services (the "Service"), why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and the rights you have over it, including rights under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") where it applies to you.
1. The Short Version
- The free interactive Tool runs entirely in your browser. Company names, financial figures, and other data you type into it are never sent to our servers or stored by us.
- We do collect ordinary e-commerce data — such as your name, email, and order details — when you purchase the Product, through our store platform and its payment processor.
- We use cookies for core store functionality (cart, checkout) and, if enabled, basic analytics. See Section 6.
- You can contact us at any time at info@vizival.com to ask what data we hold about you or to request it be corrected or deleted.
2. Who We Are (the Data Controller)
ViziVal is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@vizival.com or 67 Le Forge Court, Wayne, PA 19087, USA.
3. What Personal Data We Collect
a) Data you provide when you purchase the Product
When you buy the Product through our online store, we (via our e-commerce and payment platform) collect information needed to process the order and deliver the file, which may include your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our own systems.
b) Data you provide if you contact us
If you email us or use a contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide (such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message) to respond to you.
c) Data entered into the free interactive Tool
We do not collect this data. The free Tool at vizival.com runs entirely client-side in your browser; company names, revenue figures, and every other input stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.
d) Data collected automatically
Like most websites, our store platform automatically logs some technical information when you visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed — typically through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6 for details.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To process and fulfil your order and deliver the Product.
- To send transactional communications (order confirmations, delivery links, support replies).
- To respond to questions or support requests you send us.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Service.
- To understand aggregate usage of our store and improve it, where analytics are enabled.
- With your consent, to send occasional product updates or marketing — you may opt out at any time.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to process your order and deliver the Product you purchased.
- Consent — for optional marketing communications and any non-essential cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to keep our Service secure, prevent fraud, and understand basic aggregate usage, balanced against your rights and interests.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain certain records (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our online store uses cookies that are necessary for core functionality, such as keeping items in your cart and completing checkout. Depending on which apps and analytics tools are active on the store at any given time, we may also use cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. Where applicable law requires your consent before we use non-essential cookies, we will seek that consent before doing so.
7. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Service, currently including:
- Shopify, Inc. — our e-commerce platform, which processes orders, checkout, and payment.
- Our digital delivery app (Pendora Downloads) — which generates and provides your download link.
- Payment processors integrated with our store (e.g., Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, or other providers you choose at checkout).
These providers process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms, and only to the extent needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may store and process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom. Where personal data of EEA/UK individuals is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available (such as Standard Contractual Clauses), consistent with GDPR requirements.
9. Data Retention
We retain order and transaction data for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose it was collected for and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Support correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably useful to assist you, and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for EEA/UK residents, your national supervisory authority).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@vizival.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Data Security
We rely on our third-party providers' security measures (including encryption in transit for checkout and payment) to protect data processed through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above.
